a friend we met from CPh airport asked us if he could come over to stay with us in STockholm over the weekend.
and came over, he did.
Friday was spent at the royal palace, where we witnessed the changing of guards. it was quite awesome and u just wonder how long did it take them to practise and get their routines right... the whole event of changing the guards took half an hour, and tehy do it everyday at the same timing, which is 12 15. and it was really.. royal. hahaha
we have mastered the soldiers run quite well, and have been practicing it along the streets when we are cold. the leaders of this run are none other than jamie and yi wen.

we took really pretty pictures and visited the museum of antiquities, went for the guided tour which really opened our eyes and understood more about one of the swedish "Gustav" king's love for collecting italian sculptures and the muses. we learnt and saw many many sculptures there. =)
before lunch, we came across a church and guess what! tehre was a wedding!! hahaha.. so we joined in the celebrations as uninvited guests and i think jamie and i had more interest in the really charming and cute guy instead. hmm...

friday's lunch was at a pretty place called cafe art, and our dearest friend Kim Seah treated us lunch. hahaha yay.
oh wells, our day continued with more pics of Gamla Stan which is the old town of stockholm, and these 2 houses are the most famous houses of Gamla Stan:
day ended with a wonderful dinner cooked by Kim. and while he stayed in jamie and my room, 2 of us went up to sleep with the other 2.
guess i'll talk about sat and sun soon. tired la. tmr first day of school. so exciting. =)
sverige!!!
o. public declaration: i love my family. =)
