as mentioned in my previous post, day 1 was filled with wax people and danish streets and fastfood.
Day 2 started in the airport, and ended with a chicken leg by the fountain, which we defined as happiness. we also have a video with regards to our feelings towards the country:
day 3 was beautiful, because we slept on a proper bed the night before. =) also, the other 2 siao kia arrived. we had a beautiful ( and expensive) lunch, and trip to the city, where there was a huge fruits and flowers market beneath the huge shrek and donkey. The day ended with a superb dinner at Jensens, where we only ordered one main and uncountable FREE side order refills of fries.
Day 4 was another adventure altogether. we conquered the other side of the city and discovered a beautiful anglican church known as St Jakobs because we missed the ikea bus. it was so beautiful we couldn't stop taking pictures.
bought a bit of stuff and went home to cook our first dinner: salad - mushroom, lettuce and tomato (yes father, mother! i've been popping tomatoes in my mouth like nobody's business..), rice, chilli tuna, japanese curry and miso soup.
Day 5:
school started with orientation. it was a great way to meet people from all different european background. the only asians from the school came from China [Hongkong (2) mainland (3?)], Taiwan (1), Japan (1), Thailand (1) and SIngapore (5).
so obviously we stood out and everyone remembered us. hahaha. they thought we were 16.
had a great lunch at school and the 4 of us ate so much because we were super hungry and well, mainly cos the food was free (hehe). sat next to Patrick who is 2 heads taller than me.
scary scary.
ended the day with more salad, leftover japanese curry and spaghetti ( which we termed our version of 'mee rebus'
we felt really loved after that.
but disgusted everytime we drink our cactus water which we mistook it for mineral water.
damn gross can.
Day 6:
day 6 started with a cheek to cheek greeting with a mexican guy which caught me off guard and left me really stunned. it was followed by a city tour provided by the school and boring talks given by lecturers. of which one tried to persuade us to take an advance english class thinking that we probably couldn't speak english. gee. the discrimination.
and another video by our chewables ( please watch wennies at the background):

Day 7:
Day 7 was a friday, last day of orientation, went to school for some photo taking of which i look like some spastic idiot, but nvm, i'm fine with that. i'm still regretting i never smile more spastic.
we decided to skip the evolving of the swedish economy lecture and went shopping at h&m instead. we were so drawn by the the "REA" signs everywhere!! and the best place to be? the children's section.
all of us bought something, and are really happy with it.
was called to go for a party which was held at the school that night, while shopping, and we were reluctant to go, but we decided to show face because that afternoon during the lecture, it was made known to inform SOME of the exchange students who weren't there at the lecture of the party.
the school was packed and we all went 0.0 . no way would we want to squeeze into the school! as the door was open in intervals to allow some people in because it was so pack, i manage to get a peek what was happening inside, and i only saw heads. thats how packed it was.
so having dressed up, we decided to not waste our make up and go to another pretty pub. but lo and behold, a night in sthlm is FAR TOO DANGEROUS for 4 girls.
ever since, we've given up hope and resort to drinking hot chocolate.
we need men.
hahahahhahha
but the hot chocolate was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good... =)
Day 8:
DAy 8 started off really late, cos everybody was nua-ing away. but it was a day at Lappis, where Hoa mai and Uta lived, where we had a picnic.
many events happened that day. this included a race, a record breaking event of the most number of cheeseballs in a line in a mouth, reliving of playground days and tutorial lessons of how to keep warm when feeling super cold.
introed and met hidayat to the rest of the girls. =)
somehow, meeting someone from home seems like sth so blessed. =)
